Posters & Prints FAQ

What's the difference between a Poster and a Giclee Art Print?
Our posters are printed on lovely 250gsm white art paper and are designed to go straight in to a frame without the need for a window mount. We do not supply frames but the posters are available in sizes which fit directly in to standard size A2 and A3 frames

What is a Giclee Print?
Our artwork is printed to gallery standard on lovely fine art paper using archival pigment inks which will truly stand the test of time. The quality of a giclee print is far superior to all other forms of art printing.

Do unframed prints have a white border around?
No, unframed prints are printed edge to edge as standard.

What glazing is used on your framed art prints?
Our Fine Art Trade Guild certified framers use high grade Perspex brand acrylic as glazing. It is 2.5mm thick and indistinguishable from normal glass, except that it's optically clearer and less fragile.

Framed prints - Is the size the picture or the frame?
The size of the framed print includes the picture size, 4cm all round for the mount and 2cm all round for the frame. For example, a print of 60x80cm when framed would measure 70x92cm. Basically add 12cm to both dimensions.

Are other frames available?
We have chosen to offer modern minimal wooden frames in oak and black as we believe they best complement the artwork. Other frames can be sourced upon request, there may be an extra charge for this. Please ask for information.

What do you charge for delivery of posters, art prints and posters?
We have included the delivery cost by courier in the price of the posters, prints and framed prints so there's no extras added when it comes to checkout.
